I find a close connection between my
music profession of the past and my
artwork of the present. As a retiree I
enjoy more than ever before painting by
myself, or in a group. Years ago, first
painting with local artists in Salisbury, I
wished for the painting community that
we have today. The Plein Air Carolina
group is here and now and it has gotten
me outside again to paint. Getting the
color onto the canvas or paper as quickly
as possible influences my work.....Color
is so important to me, whether it is
watercolor, acrylics or oils.
